PassageMate is an AI-assisted cruise planning platform that helps recreational boaters plan multi-day cruises. The Service includes itinerary generation, marina information, weather data, and related planning tools.

3. Important Safety Disclaimer

⚠️ PassageMate is a PLANNING TOOL ONLY. All itineraries, routes, and recommendations generated by our AI should be verified independently before use.

  • Always verify routes using official navigation charts and your vessel's navigation equipment
  • Check current weather conditions from official sources (NOAA) before departure
  • Confirm marina availability and contact information before arrival
  • The captain is solely responsible for the safe operation of the vessel
  • AI-generated content may contain errors or outdated information

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Providing accurate and complete registration information
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Transmit viruses or malicious code
  • Interfere with other users' use of the Service
  • Scrape or harvest data from the Service

YOU EXPRESSLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT PASSAGEMATE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY MARITIME INCIDENTS, ACCIDENTS, OR DAMAGES THAT MAY OCCUR DURING YOUR CRUISE.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
